* Niloofar Rahnama Represented at India Art Fair 2026 in New Delhi
Our artist Niloofar Rahnama – WHOMA was featured in the Vida Heydari Contemporary presentation at India Art Fair 2026 in New Delhi, held from February 5 to 8, 2026 at the NSIC Exhibition Grounds.
The exhibition brought together a group of Iranian women artists, including Katayoun Karami, Maryam Firuzi, Roghayeh Najdi, and Rahnama, whose works engage with memory, resilience, and feminine experience within contemporary visual practice.
Rahnama’s paintings draw inspiration from everyday domestic objects, using subtle shifts in form and colour to explore the psychological spaces of presence, trace, and quiet narrative. Her work—which often reclaims familiar motifs and re-frames them with emotional depth—was presented in dialogue with broader themes of lived experience and cultural reflection at one of South Asia’s most significant art fairs.
Participation in India Art Fair 2026 offered a valuable international platform, situating Rahnama’s practice within a dynamic context of global contemporary art and cultural exchange.
