* Neda Saeedi›s «Sinking Suns» Illuminates Berlinale 2025

We are thrilled to announce that artist Neda Saeedi’s latest installation, Sinking Suns, is featured at the 75th Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale) in 2025. This immersive work is part of the Berlinale Shorts program and offers a unique exploration of light and emotion.
Sinking Suns invites visitors into a dynamic environment where glass arrangements on overhead projectors cast expansive, colorful projections across the room, enveloping walls, floors, ceilings, and attendees alike. The installation creates a sea of moods, compelling participants to immerse themselves fully in the experience. Despite the visible fragility of its components, the work exudes an irresistible strength, prompting reflection on the illusion of control in the face of analyzable yet overwhelming phenomena.
The installation is on display at Betonhalle@Silent Green, with opening hours from February 14 (7 pm - 10 pm) and February 15 to 23 (daily from 12 pm - 10 pm). Admission is free, offering an accessible opportunity to engage with this thought-provoking piece.
Neda Saeedi, born in Tehran and currently based in Berlin, has an extensive background in classical sculpture and fine arts. Her work has been exhibited internationally, and her publications include Neda Saeedi: Whispers (2024) and Only Birds Who Fly the Highest Can Shatter the Windows (2022).
