* Bavan Gallery is delighted to announce that works by Elham Pourkhani, Soraya Sharghi, and Mahsa Tehrani are now on display at The Middle East Institute (MEI)

Curated by independent curator Donna Honarpisheh, MEI is leading an exhibition that showcases contemporary Iranian art. Titled Maximal Miniatures, the exhibition explores the deep connection between classical and contemporary Iranian visual culture, emphasizing the role of text and writing. It presents a distinct aesthetic approach that sets it apart from Western artistic traditions.
The exhibition opens on January 22, 2025, and will be on view until May 23, 2025, at the MEI Art Gallery.
