Shahpari Behzadi
Shahpari Behzadi, an Iranian abstract painter born in 1973, has been creating art for over two decades.
After earning her diploma in graphic design, she dedicated her career to painting, a journey enriched by her travels and participation in numerous symposiums and art residencies across Europe.
Throughout her career, she has held 15 solo exhibitions in Iran and abroad and participated in over 50 group shows. In her recent work, Behzadi draws inspiration from the forms of ancient Iranian monuments, using her art to explore their architecture and the rich textures of their weathered surfaces.
Through this exploration, she forms a compelling connection between timeless history and contemporary artistic expression.
